Turkish-Iraqi trade exceeds $ 1 billion

The volume of trade between Turkey and Iraq has exceeded one billion dollars in five years.

Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad Fatih Yıldız revealed at a press conference the size of trade between Turkey and Iraq, which between the two countries exchanged $ 1 billion between 2012 and 2019.

“Iraq is one of the five countries that Turkey has sold its property to, and several congressional documents on the purchase of Turkish property by Iraqis have been published by Iraqis with the number of Iraqis visiting Iraq from 2014 to 2014,” Yildiz said.

From 2014 to 2014, more than 1,374,896 people from Iraq visited Turkey, according to statistics released by the Turkish ambassador.

Earlier, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported that Iraqi citizens were among the first property buyers in the country and bought 7596 properties last year alone.
