Sulaimani cultural logo has been accepted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) to its list of “Creative Cities.”

(UNESCO) to its list of “Creative Cities.” Haval Abubkr, the governor of Sulaimanyah to Shkoi-Kurdistan newspaper.
He added that the logo has been recommended by himself and Sulaimanya office of UNESCO.
Last year, UN agency officially added 66 new cities from around the world to the list of those it recognizes as noteworthy for flourishing in one of seven categories; Crafts & Folk, Art Design, Film, Gastronomy, Literature, Media Arts, and Music, Sulaimanyah was one of them. About 250 total cities total have now been given the distinction.
