Even though the case has been closed in the integrity office in Erbil, but the integrity committee of Kurdistan parliament launched investigations into the missing 5 million dollar devoted to Erbil as the world tourism capital.
A delegation from integrity committee of Kurdistan Parliament visited Erbil investigation integrity board office last Wednesday and decided to investigate the case once again.
“there is a lot of unclear and prodigal spending on the the issue and it needs more accurate investigation”
In the wake of closing of the case, the head of integrity board in Erbil promised to send all their questions and notes about the case to the integrity committee of parliament and promised to help the committee investigate more deeply in order to uproot corruption in Kurdistan region.
