A campaign has been launched to prevent female genital mutilation

An attempt is being made to prevent female genital mutilation in Kurdistan, and a member of the German Wadi organization says: “12 villages have been vacated and female genital mutilation has been stopped.”
To prevent female genital mutilation in Kurdistan, a group of young Garmian volunteers have launched a campaign called (No to Female Genital Mutilation) as part of their efforts against female genital mutilation in the Kurdistan Region.

Iman Nouri, a member of the Wadi Be (Glory to Kurdistan) organization, said that the campaign had already been announced in Erbil, Garmian, Halabja and several other areas, and that it had been very successful.
He said the campaign was not aimed at female genital mutilation, and that it was still ongoing, and that the German Wadi team had recently turned a blind eye to girls and women, and that their age was different.
But fortunately after the campaign, many families and individuals in the community have come to believe that female sexual harassment has a sudden and far-reaching effect.

According to experts in the field, female genital mutilation is a physical, mental, family and social problem, so many families are urging their daughters to no longer be circumcised.
For more than 10 years, the women’s anti-trafficking campaign has been announced by the organization, and it is still ongoing and will need to be re-launched.
A spokesman for the organization said: “In the meantime, 12 villages have been evacuated and women have been evacuated.

According to the organization’s statistics, they have been working on the population of 12 villages for a while, and they have been able to travel to the statistics of female migration, and “this will be an important achievement for all of us, and we are proud of our hope for all”
Regarding the adverse effects of female genital mutilation, Dr. Ahmad Sabir, a psychiatrist, says:”Every effort should be made to ensure that the girls, especially those in the higher education institutions, have the opportunity to continue their education and to continue their education in a way that allows them to continue their education and In any way, they should not be allowed to drop out of school.
